Blog from Mt Bachelor

This is a first attempt to blog from my Blackberry + from Blue Lodge at Mt Bachelor to boot. All of us are here for Max’s first day doing MBSEF – so far so good. The snow is great and the kids are having a blast. Now I’m in the car cranking tunes...

Marley, Coco and us

We cruised out to see Marley and me this afternoon with the kids – a cute movie that had us all in tears as we left the theater. The book was better. I had read the book about two years ago after our first lab (his name was Marley) died at the age of 8 –...

The days of photo albums

After some celebratory tequila shots, we broke out the stacks of photo albums we’d collected before the days of iPhoto. We danced to the Rolling Stones  and reveled in the still new year. It was good to see my cousin Nicole for sure.

Wigging out in 2009

Future geeks of America unite

It’s getting warmer

24 degrees feel so good compared to the single digit highs we experienced earlier this week. With the temperature predicted to hang in the 20’s – 30’s for the next few days it’s time for building snowmen + once again time to hit the lifts.

Let it snow.

It’s snowing – which means more snow for Mt. Bachelor! Woo Hoo! In town we may see about three inches, but the mountian should be getting three feet! Um – all meetings cancelled tomorrow. ;^)

2009 Job Market

My sister (who lived in SoCal for quite some time) sent this video by Screaming Frog the other day. If you lived in LA you would for sure get this one.

Snow’s in, School’s out

It was a cold day but people were cruising all around town – both Post Offices were packed, the roads were busy, and school was out. The kids spent the day at home and with friends and I cruised home early in the afternoon after a client meeting. The mountain...
